First off, I came across The Fix + Co through a friend. It’s a local business here in the GTA run by 2 of the sweetest girls, Adrianna & Tamara. I met up with them to chat about what they do, and what they offer and we instantly clicked. Since initially meeting with them, they’ve grown so much too.
Anyway, one of the products they offer is of course, the traditional juice cleanses, but also the “Body Reset Program” – which is what I did! It comes with 4 juices, a delicious almond milk, 1 salad and 1 soup – that’s a lot! So, here’s how my day went.
Waking Up: Daily Dose
This is one of my favourite juices that the shop has to offer, so I jumped right into the day with a positive mindframe. Even thought I was tired and hungry, and wanted to eat so bad, I grabbed the juice instead. I so desparately needed caffiene that morning too, but I was feeling good after the daily dose so no problem :)
10amish: The Antidote
Hello new juice! This ones had more “greens” in it than the first, but that was fine. I was feeling good after the 2nd juice, and knowing that I was not far away from eating at noon kept me going! This was another tasty one too.
Lunch: Raw Salad
This was the highlight of my day – maybe it was because I was hungry, or maybe it was because this was one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my entire life, but I literally licked the container clean.
2pmish: On The Mend
I’ll be honest – this was a tough juice to get down. Only because I hate ginger. My boyfriend, for example, loves it. It’s just not in my pallet. Nonetheless, this was the fastest juice I drank haha.
5pmish: Soup Time!
The soup I had was a cabbage soup. What comes with your kit is essentially what rotates throughout the shop. I’ve had a couple of their soups and I have yet to find one I didn’t like – including this one. It was delicious, and gave me that boost of what I needed. Yes, this was another meal I was looking forward to forsure as well.
7pmish: On The Mend
This was another tasty one too, and light to finish off the day :)
You’re supposed to drink the almond milk throughout the day between juices/meals. This was another highlight for me because it was delicious. That’s huge for me to say about almond milk because normally I am not a fan (I have yet to find a mass-produced almond milk or non-dairy milk in store that I love), but this one was tasty on its own (with a hint of cinnamon too).
So overall, I enjoyed the cleanse! What gives The Fix + Co major brownie points in my book is that you can customize your cleanses. Next time I’d obviously switch out “On The Mend” and perhaps add in another salad (looking at their website right now, they’ve actually switched out On The Mend so WIN!). It’s very affordable too (only $72), and they offer free delivery if you’re unable to swing by the shop. You can now order online too!
Catering to Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga and everyone all around, I’d highly suggest swinging by this hidden gem and checking them out. Make sure to tell them I sent ya too! ;)
